Turn Me Up!

Every Child Has A Voice As We Know
And, most times, they want to be heard. And, they should be. Of course, how that voice is delivered is key to it being heard.  So understood, honor and respect to the audience, including elders and authority, is vital.

In earlier years, the adage ruled---"Children are to be seen and not heard."

It was children’s talk show host and author Art Linkletter that  made  made famous the phrase---Kids Say The Darndest Things.

YouTube and Facebook have exploited that phrase displaying kids, not only saying, but, doing the cutest, noblest and sometimes d---est things. Concurrently, on the dark side, we encourage our children not to be silent if they are the victim or potential victim of abuse.

(Collect Them All)
Relatively, the definition of kids has taken on an identity of its own projecting that the label “kids” doesn’t mean just juvenile, but a category or an association. The term “kids” is connected with any human offspring and not just the children of the “goat” family. It is applied to the segment of humanity distinct from, yet representative of, parents.

The term Kid’s gives a right of possession to "youth" of all ages---revealed in such markers as the Kid’s Networks, the Kid’s Hour, the Kid’s Section, Kid’s Club. The term classifies children as the receivers of designated inheritance i.e. “It belongs to the kids”. The word also appears at the end of titles such as PK’s---the preacher’s kids, the neighbor’s kids, or school kids---giving a title to a distinct social class.

ClubK4C is a kid’s club created by The Glory Cloud publication. The ministry believes God has a plan for every segment of the Christian family and church. Children of God can open their mouths and proclaim powerful things that can alter positively the course of society. Especially if that child or young person has the Spirit of God flowing through them.

At the Pentecost outpouring, Peter preaching from the prophet Joel prophesied that the empowerment of the Spirit was on the Born-Again Christian sons and daughters as well. In fact, he said prophecy---divinely inspired unction---would also flow out of this sect of the church.

History is filled with youth of all ages who spoke for God and prospered. Samuel was encouraged by the priest Eli to respond back to Yahweh’s calling. Josiah was king of Israel at eight years old (2 Chronicles 34). Young Solomon (Lemuel of Proverbs 31) was counseled by his mother to speak for the dumb—or those who could speak for themselves. Although conceivably a young adult, his wisdom had to some part relate to his rearing. Daniel and his three Hebrews consorts were youth at the beginning of their careers before the King of Babylon.

Jesus was twelve, when he set in the temple, with great knowledge of the Torah, communicating with the scholars. The lad, at the feeding of the five thousand, saved the day when he alone responded to the economic need of the moment giving what he had to the Master. Psalms 128.3 said that children are olive plants around the family table—they are there for a purpose. The wise parent knows how to engage and connect in their anointing—divine ability to help.

ClubK4C and Lazurus Lion recognizing the move of God on the youth of this generation calls them to look to God’s voice in them. Children are of godly heritage (Psalms 127:3) and can be mobilized to speak to the enemy at the gate. The gates are their schools, neighborhoods, homes and etc. The gates are also communication entrances ways such as TV, radio, internet and social media. Instead of youth mindlessly receiving whatever diabolical spirit that comes through these channels, they are empowered to bind and rebuke them.

We allowed evil to take prayer and the Bible out of schools and institutions, but we can stop it from taking the Word of God and the Holy Spirit out of the hearts and lives of our youth. Join with ClubK4C and The Glory Cloud publications as we shout aloud with our spirit-filled and empowered children and say---“Turn Me Up! I have something to say.” Every child of God has a roar of faith, hope, love, and miracle power inside them ready to allow the manifestation of God’s glory on the earth.

Ephesians 4:11 - "Until We All Come into the Unity of the Faith."

The Story

Front School was a good suburban school, but it sit right outside of the city. Despite statistics, no one was quite sure if that was the reason for the stuff going on or not. Malachi Junior High was on the other side of the city and didn’t have near the issues that Front school had.

Most of the kids were feeling it. It was just a general sense of sadness. Kids complained a lot of times of doing homework, but they got it done. And it wasn’t so much better in the world around. There was another threat of a terrorist attack. Another militant group that no one had heard of in the Middle East was threatening.

Natasha showed up at the park first, she thought. She was eating a raspberry strudel. Natasha didn’t see Thayan sitting on the top of the slide ladder.
“You got jelly on your face” He teased his friend.

Comforted by his voice, Natasha just glanced up confirming where his sound was coming from.
“I do,” she smiled and wiped her cheeks. I don’t feel any jelly.
“No, but it’s there now,” laughed Thayan.
